This is a physically and mentally demanding course. You are expected to be able to perform vigorous activity throughout long days.

TUITION: $325

This course is designed to give students operational skills needed for close protection work. Students will learn industry standards and expectations of private security companies in addition to operational tools and techniques to work with a prinicpal in a permissive or semi permissive environment. In addition to operational standards, TCCC and basic life saving techniques will be reviewed in regards to an attack on principal. 

NO LIVE AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED AT THIS COURSE.

Required Equipment:

Eye Protection

Sturdy belt with holster and magazine pouch

Clothing suitable for training in indoor and outdoor environment

Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turns

A light jacket or other concealment garment

LONG SLEEVES (no exposed skin) for force on force exercise

Note taking material

Students may be required to purchase UTM Man Marker Rounds (no Simuntion Fx) ammunition for final exercise. Typically speaking, students should be able to split a box of UTM ammunition with another student. UTM ammunition typically costs about $1 per round. Students can be expected to shoot no more than 25 man marker rounds each. 

Students are welcome to bring their own UTM or Simuntion pistols and appropriate man marker ammo if they have it. Spec War Solutions uses UTM equipment and that is the type of ammo that will be available for purchase.
