LIVE FIRE COURSE

Topics include live fire tactical drills simulating injured and downed officer scenarios.    Topics include effective shooting while injured, moving, communicating, casualty evacuation, appropriate use of cover and concealment.

Each student will need a pistol with OWB holster (no Serpa holsters unless agency issued), 3 magazines, minimum of 500 rounds of ammunition, and ear & eye protection. Knee pads are recommended. Course includes force on force- students need long sleeve shirts (no exposed skin) for final training exercise (FTX.)

In this course students may be required to purchase UTM Man Marker Rounds (not Simuntion Fx) ammunition for final exercise. Typically speaking, students should be able to split a box of UTM ammunition with another student. UTM ammunition typically costs about $1 per round. Students can be expected to shoot no more than 25 man marker rounds each.

Students are welcome to bring their own UTM or Simuntion pistols and appropriate man marker ammo if they have it. Spec War Solutions uses UTM equipment and that is the type of ammo that will be available for purchase.
