VCAT (Vehicle Counter Ambush Tactics)

THIS IS A LIVE FIRE CLASS - LAW ENFORCEMENT AND MILITARY ONLY

TUITION: $250

A one day class consisting of brief classroom portion followed by hands on practical exercises covering ambush style attacks on police officers in and around vehicles. Topics include vehicle egress under fire, vehicular points of cover, solo officer combatives and subject control, gear set up pros and cons, team vectoring upon arrival of back up officers.

This class will also incorporate force on force using non lethal eqipment.

Location: Paladin Center, Carmel NY

Rain or shine- indoor shoot house environment

Ammunition required: 400 rounds handgun only

Required Equipment:

Eye/Ear Protection

Duty belt with multiple magazines and magazine pouches

Typical duty gear to include body armor

Dust mask (students will be shooting through glass)

LONG SLEEVES (no exposed skin) for final force on force exercise

Suggested equipment: Knee pads
